This site has many cool videos uploaded by other language learners or teachers. These videos are wonderful resources for language learning. Most have a script that you can use to check your ability to understand the words you hear. If you are a teacher, you'll be thrilled by all the activities you can prepare based on these videos.
You can become a member and upload your own videos, share videos with others, translate the script for others, chat with others and become friends, and much more.
Suggested Activities
- Become a member and save your favorite videos. You can listen to these videos whenever you want to polish up your English, or to improve your vocabulary and/or listening comprehension skills.
- Upload your own video clip and provide a script for other language learners.
- Share your favorite videos with your classmates.
- Prepare activities for your students based on these videos. For example, you can ask your students to a) react to the content presented by the video clip, b) answer questions based on the video clip, c) provide a follow-up to a video clip either in writing (e.g., continue the script, narrate what happens afterwards), visually (e.g., make a video clip that continues the story presented), or orally (e.g., discuss how the video clip may continue, brainstorm different endings to the story presented).
